Kahului

Kahului is Maui's largest community and is not generally a destination for tourists.  Kahului is Maui's commercial center. Everything from Maui's deep draft harbor, airport, shopping malls, and light industrial businesses can be found in Kahului.

As Maui grows we generally find that the larger mainland stores move into Kahului, for example we now have a Wal-Mart and a Home Depot.
